In association with our long-time partner, New Zealand Language Centres, we offer a once-in-a-lifetime study program in New Zealand's largest city, Auckland.

 

Through our partner travel agency, Czech Sport Travel, we offer a complete service: language course, activities, accommodation, insurance, flights and accompanying group leader! On request, we can organize one-day and weekend trips.

Group Tours for Teenagers

Fantail Academy is excited to offer a unique experience combining English language learning, engaging afternoon activities, and sightseeing adventures in beautiful New Zealand, open to students aged 13 and up. Classes take place at New Zealand Language Centres, a school with a long tradition of quality teaching. Students will enjoy studying in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city.

Fantail Academy handles everything: arranging the language course, accommodation, insurance, flights, and providing a dedicated tour guide! Upon request, we can organize day trips and weekend excursions to make the experience even more memorable.

Note: Parents interested in accompanying their children are also welcome to join and study English at the same school.

Why Study in Auckland?

Located on the northern part of New Zealand’s North Island, Auckland is the country’s largest city and a top destination thanks to its beautiful setting, mild climate, and endless things to see and do. You can explore the Auckland Museum, Sky Tower, Viaduct Harbour, Auckland Art Gallery, Devonport, and much more. Known as one of the world’s best-located port cities, Auckland boasts amazing beaches and countless trails in nearby national parks.

New Zealand Language Centres (NZLC)

For over 25 years, New Zealand Language Centres has provided high-quality English courses with exceptional facilities, including spacious classrooms, free Wi-Fi, a computer lab, kitchen, and dining area. Skilled, experienced teachers ensure that students make significant progress in their English skills and build the confidence needed to communicate with native speakers.

The Auckland campus is conveniently located in the city center on Queen Street, right in the heart of the city and close to cafes, restaurants, and shopping areas. The NZLC Auckland team also organizes a variety of afternoon activities each day, helping students make the most of their experience.

Accommodation

Accommodation is arranged with carefully selected and vetted host families. During the week, families provide two meals a day (breakfast and dinner), and on weekends, they offer three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Each family will host two children together.

Part-Time English Course + Activities

Attend a fun-filled half-day English course paired with fun activities led by a friendly local guide! Classes will take place daily for 2 hours and 45 minutes, either in the morning or afternoon, based on the schedule. In your free time, you’ll embark on exciting adventures around Auckland and its stunning surroundings, accompanied by a New Zealand guide and your group leader from the Czech Republic. Discover fascinating sights and gather incredible stories to share! Plus, from day one, you’ll be co-creating a blog with your classmates, capturing all your experiences in English. Get ready for an unforgettable journey!

Requirements

  • Participants should be at least 13 years old

  • Have at least a Pre-Intermediate level of English (A2-B1).  This means they should understand basic sentences and commonly used phrases related to everyday life, such as personal information, family, shopping, directions, and professions. They should be able to follow simple instructions, describe things and events in simple terms, and talk about themselves and their surroundings.

Price for the Three-Week Course and Dates

Price for Three-Week Course in Auckland (Part-Time): 75,000 CZK (excluding airfare)         

Stay Dates: May/June 2025

What’s Included:

  • Airport transfers to and from your accommodation

  • Homestay accommodation for 21/22 nights (half board during the week, full board on weekends)

  • 3 weeks of part-time courses (2 hours and 45 minutes each day) + exciting activities and study materials

  • Public transport card with a $25 credit

  • Administrative fees

  • Ongoing support from the group leader accomanying from the Czech Republic

 

What’s Not Included:

  • Round-trip airfare from Prague to Auckland (approximately 30,000 - 40,000 CZK, depending on current offers)

  • Travel insurance

  • Visa (ETA or other necessary travel documents)

  • Weekend excursions

  • Lunches on weekdays

  • Extra activities

  • Spending money
